It's Spring & Things Are Looking Up!

By Paul Dobbs
Back to news
Despite the weather's best attempts to confuse us, we are now in Spring and in the estate agency world, Spring time usually see's an upturn in activity as the sunshine (when it appears finally) brings out a greater number of buyers and sellers looking to move home before the summer.

But what about this year? It has been well documented by the media that everything in the UK is terrible, right? Sky high inflation, rising interest rates, the cost of living crisis... I could go on. Surely all this negativity has impacted the housing market?

Well, to an extent, over recent months, yes, it has.  However both our Rayleigh and Rochford offices are reporting the usual Spring bounce is once again in full force.  There is a distinct upturn in new buyer enquiries, valuations, more homes to the market and more sales being agreed.

Couple this with (some) reports of inflation starting to get under control, a recent budget that wasnt wrapped in as much controversy as the last and we are all feeling pretty upbeat about the months ahead.

So, if you are considering moving home, dont let the media scare you into not getting on with your lives.  Get in touch for some friendly, real world advice and let's get moving!

Until next time..
