#1 Christmas Magic At The Barn;
Red Brick Barn, Sutton Hall, Shopland Road, Rochford - December 19th 7pm - 9pm
Family friendly and festive magic show.
Experience magic and entertainment inside a cosy barn theatre starting with close-up magic presented at tables followed by a cabaret show featuring magic, mystery and comedy plus free drink on entry!
The event will boast a combination of sleight-of-hand close-up magic, mind reading and mystery, comedy and stage illusion held within the warm, intimate and enchanting atmosphere of a 17th century barn theatre.
Conjuring for all the family, the perfect treat for Christmas.
#2 Carols In The Park
Priory Park, Victoria Avenue, Southend - December 18th 2pm - 4pm
This wonderful singalong has, since its inception, attracted record Priory Park Bandstand crowds. Year in year out, whatever the weather, Christmas revellers muffle up and, with hot flasks, woolly hats and blankets, rock up ready to participate in the magical atmosphere conjured up by the town brass band. Santa usually puts in an appearance, armed with a sackful of goodies to reward the ad-hoc children's choir and the Band enter into the spirit by dressing up as Dickensian characters. Admission is free and song sheets will be provided. You may wish to bring your own chair.
#3 Ashingdon Christmas Special;
Ashingdon & East Hawkwell Memorial Hall, Ashingdon Road, Rochford - December 22nd 10am - 11am
Help the elves to wrap presents, decorate biscuits, make Christmas cards, feed reindeer and have a snowball fight!
#4 Christmas Poinsettia Paint Party @ Rochford
Anne Boleyn, Southend Road, Rochford - 12th December
Why not come along for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our arty Christmas Poinsettia under the expert instruction of our workshop leader Sophie.
#5 Rochford Christmas Mega Fun Day
St Clements Leisure Centre, Clements Hall Way, Hawkwell - December 22nd 11am - 4pm
Bringing you an indoor family fun day for children aged 4 to 11 years old. We have a wide range of equipment set out for a day of Mega Fun! We also have a variety of different attractions, and more to create a fabulous family fun day out!
